What has been your favorite class in High School?
My favorite class? That is a hard question they have all been great. Physics. Physics makes math so much easier.
What is your favorite memory of LHS?
Oh man. It has just gone by so fast, I remember like it was just yesterday being yelled at by the seniors on the football team. But, probably the best memories for me have been just being around my senior class and joking around. I just love, you know you love a school when you’re the first one to get here and the last one to leave, whether it is in sports or helping out underclassman and spending time with my LHS family.
What sports did you play at LHS?
I played a lot. I played football for 4 years and captain for one year. I wrestled 2 years. I did track for one year, and baseball for 2. Football was by far my favorite. If I ever got angry at school I was able to hold it in and take it out at practice.
If you had a chance to sit down with someone who is considering sending their child to LHS, what would you tell them?
So, for the four years I have been here I have never met teachers anywhere else that have been involved in the student’s growth. Not only as just students but also athletes and followers of Christ. Being in such a small school makes it so freshman can be friends with seniors and they can help each other out. We are such a close knit family that we help each other out no matter what. Being at LHS not only made me a better person, a better student, a better athlete, but most importantly it made me a better follower of Christ.
