The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund helps provide for every aspect of the ministry at Lutheran High School. Gifts to the Annual Fund enable LHS to do what it does best—Promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through developing mind, body, and spirit to eternally impact lives and communities. The Annual Fund is so much more than a tax deduction each year—it makes an eternal difference in the lives of LHS students and each person they touch. The Annual Fund allows LHS to give unrestricted support to programs with the greatest need. It allows LHS to hire, and retain, high caliber faculty and staff. It provides resources to academic, artistic, athletic, and student activity programs. This year LHS upgraded the technology on campus and with Annual Fund support will continue to maintain and update this technology.
Angels of Love Tuition Assistance Program
Angels of Love was established to provide financial assistance for students attending Lutheran High School. Approximately 30% of the students that attend LHS qualify for financial assistance. At the present time, the annual Golf Tournament does not provide sufficient revenue to cover student need. It is the goal of LHS to partner with people who will support a Lutheran High School student's tuition cost for one day on up to one year. Participation in the Angels of Love Program will ensure that Lutheran High School continues to build Christian leaders who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Cory F. Hiltz "Smiling Heart" Scholarship
The Cory F. Hiltz “Smiling Heart” Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of PFC Cory F. Hiltz, a 2005 graduate of Lutheran High School. On June 28, 2007, Cory gave his life in the protection of his country during Operation Iraqi Freedom. This scholarship award is given annually to a graduating senior who exemplifies Cory's best qualities and is pursuing continuing education in any form. Recipients are chosen for their loving heart, compassion, loyalty, and respectful attitudes regardless of academic standing.
